Sometimes Fashion Weeks can seem like a world apart from ours. In today's article we want you to go beyond the catwalks and explore with us the subtext of the extravaganza that was New York Fashion Week.
We want you to immerse yourself in the main trends shown on the catwalks of one of the biggest fashion events in the world.

Elegant Comfort

This first trend dominated the New York catwalks.
Comfort is not synonymous with carelessness. And it is based on this that designers have invested in transforming comfort into elegance, transmitting softness on the catwalks, in styles such as matching sets and knitted dresses, which assume an elegance that works for day and night, as well as for special occasions, daring with touches of red or pink. Jerseys with drapes and fur textures were also on stage, all pieces that show us that it is possible to be elegant without sacrificing comfort.

Classics Revisited

The designers represented in New York chose to revive classics, basic and timeless pieces that instill a feeling of luxury, easily transported from the catwalks to our wardrobe. They renewed the classics with subtle changes, such as button details. A great example are the traditional trench coats that have gained leather or denim versions, as well as the denim pantaloons that have gained sophistication with tailoring details.

Hypertextures

Hypertextured pieces also prevailed in all categories.
Soft, plush fabrics were used to create finishes that made you feel like you were constantly touching, while extravagant fringes added a touch of glamour.

In addition to these three main trends, what we consider to be one of the biggest key pre-fall 2024 trends also took to the NYFW stage, #pretty feminine. This trend is a true dream. Exaggerated bows and extravagant effects take center stage, adding a touch of romance to any look.

Basically, this year's New York Fashion Week was an explosion of creativity, with a mix of trends that promise to inspire. If you feel inspired, send us to #WHITEDEERCOMMUNITY what looks you would wear or what trend is already part of your daily routine.
